Custom illustrated maps for campuses, heritage sites, local parks & publications
I create bespoke illustrated maps that bring places to life, celebrating the buildings, landmarks, stories and details that make a place unique.
I'm Emily, an illustrator and mural artist based in Warwickshire, creating colourful, characterful illustrated maps for towns, cities, museums, heritage organisations, universities, visitor attractions and businesses.
From illustrated town and city maps to heritage trails, visitor guides and educational maps, I combine detailed research with playful illustration to create maps that are both practical and full of personality. Whether helping visitors find their way around a new place, uncovering local history or celebrating a community, each custom illustrated map is designed with its audience and purpose in mind.
My map illustrations can be used across printed guides, interpretation panels, signage, exhibitions, websites and merchandise, helping organisations tell stories, encourage exploration and connect people with places.

why illustration?
Some things are just better explained with pictures. Illustration can bring words and ideas to life, or do the talking when words aren’t enough.
It can make complex information more accessible, spark curiosity, engage different audiences and help people see the bigger picture.
