Rugby 2026

This sketchbook was created as part of a collaboration with the lovely folks at Rugby Art Gallery & Museum, designed as an accompaniment to the rugby collection, art gallery and archaeology exhibition.

I visited the gallery to explore the spaces and collections, choosing objects to highlight. The result is a colourful sketchbook for children and families to enjoy.

I created initial thumbnail sketches which I shared with the client. These depicted all of the pages in sketch format. They really help to visualise the final result.

The finished design only slightly changed from this initial concept, however we revised the design over 3 iterations to tweak the compositions, choice of wording and colours.
