What is a Visual Scribe?
A visual scribe, sometimes called graphic recording, or live illustration, notes down information in pictorial form. The result is a summary built from text and image that helps make information more accessible, memorable and easy to share.
As a visual scribe, I listen, draw and translate conversations into colourful illustrated records. This practice is perfect for any room where a conversation is happening that you’d like to record. I’ve worked for AGMS, Conferences, Talks, Research symposiums and meetings.
One of the key pieces of feedback is that attendees enjoy seeing the artwork evolve, and organisers have something bright and accessible to share with their wider network.

How does live scribing work?
Before your event
I’ll schedule a Zoom call. We can cover your goals, aims, setup arrangements and what you’d like to achieve with the finished artwork.
On the day
I work digitally and will come prepared with my setup. I can be in view or out of sight. It is also possible to live cast the images as they unfold. Whichever works best for you.
After the event
I’ll ask you for feedback, take the drawings away to tweak and send you your high resolution files and time-lapse within 2 days. If you’d like to share them, immediately I can provide the files straight away.
