nuneaton 2025

In August 2025 I was invited to host a workshop with Warwickshire Libraries at their event ‘Park Life Reads’ in Nuneaton. It was such a lovely event for families and children. I facilitated a mural painting workshop inviting children to fill in the giant pain by numbers. Children of all ages added to the painting and it looked brilliant when the message in the mural came to life. I also facilitated drawing and setup a table with pencil crayons, paint sticks, feathers…and of course glitter!

The children always amaze me with their incredible creativity. They made some fantastic drawings! Well done everyone!

A man is holding a young boy with a paper that has purple and orange crayon marks and lines. The boy is pointing to a poster with a photo and text on a display board outdoors. The scene appears to be at a community event or festival.
Three children sitting on a blue mat outside, painting a large poster that reads 'Park Life Reads 2025. We love to read books to learn.' The poster is colorful with various letters painted in different colors.
A wooden table with a white paper featuring a child's drawing of a smiling face with colorful scribbles. Next to it is a bowl filled with colored pencils. Part of a colorful painting or poster is visible at the bottom of the image, and a colorful guide or booklet is partially visible on the left side of the table.
Children and an adult painting and decorating a colorful poster on the grass. The poster reads 'Park Life Reads 2025' and 'How to Read Books,' with children sitting and painting on it.
